In the recent case of SOI v. Adam Manuwal, the Indiana Supreme Court held that an individual can be convicted of driving under the influence, even while on private property – including his own. Mr. Manuwal was arrested after crashing his all-terrain vehicle on his own property. After a blood test confirmed he was under the influence at the time of the accident, the police charged him with Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor. Given the status of the current economy, experts believe that more people will have home gardens this year than have in the past.
Since it is Spring and gardens are on many minds, I did a little searching for garden tips. Our very own Purdue University has a very helpful site called “Purdue Extension Garden Tips.”

Yesterday, the staff and associates at MEP enjoyed an Easter scavenger hunt organized by Susan Raisor, Steve Robison’s assistant. Congratulations to Stephanie Mellenbruch who completed the scavenger hunt first and found the grand prize Easter egg! We certainly appreciated Susan’s time and effort putting everything together!
