Bright Kalu is an exceptional engineer in the built environment with about a decade of experience. His career began at Ekcel Engineering Consultants and he later worked at KOA Consultants Ltd (formerly Kunle Ogunbayo and Associates) before joining MEP Insights Ltd as a co-founder.

Bright obtained a B.Eng.degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State. In addition to his academic accomplishments, he has bagged 2 diploma certificates in Instrumentation & Control Automation and Instrument calibration from Creative Technology, India.

Bright is a member of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Institute of Electrical, Electronic Engineers (NIEEE). He has attended numerous seminars and workshops organized by the Association for Consulting Engineers of Nigeria (ACEN) and is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
